Late last year I released a publication called “The Carbon Footprint of Aircraft Operations in Australia – 2011”.    While this report is primarily a data resource for Australia it is also very much intended as a demonstration of the type of carbon footprint reporting that can be carried out in general for aviation using publicly available datasets and widely used software.
